During the maintenance window, customers using our broadband and MPLS services may experience brief interruptions to connectivity while core routing services are updated and network paths reconverge. Dear Customer, We have been notified of planned maintenance affecting one of our resilient inter-datacentre links. No customer impact is expected; however, we are providing advance notice in line with our change management procedures. Further details are provided below. Affected Service One of Stream Networks' inter-datacentre fibre links between our London facilities. Reason for Maintenance Our dark fibre provider is carrying out essential fibre network upgrade works within the London Docklands area. Expected Impact The affected fibre link will be unavailable for the duration of the maintenance window. This link forms part of a resilient multi-path infrastructure between our London datacentres. Three additional inter-datacentre links will remain operational throughout the maintenance period and no customer impact is expected under normal operating conditions. As with any infrastructure maintenance, there remains a small risk of unforeseen issues. Our engineering team will monitor the network throughout the maintenance window and respond accordingly should any unexpected service impact occur. During the maintenance window, customers using broadband services may experience a brief interruption to connectivity while the router is restarted and network services reconverge. We expect the interruption to last no longer than 15 minutes. Services Affected: IP Services between Newbury and Ash Data Centres Maintenance Window: Start 20th March 2026 23.00 End 20th March 2026 23.59 Reasons for Maintenance: As part of our commitment to improving network service, we are upgrading our current 10G link. Network Resilience: While our core network architecture is designed for resilience and diversity, during this maintenance period, there will be reduced resiliency during this timeframe Customer Experience: Our proactive measures will ensure that there is no degradation in the quality of the network services. Our systems are set to automatically adjust routing to maintain service continuity throughout the work.
